Good people in bad times make things good again. I enjoyed shooting this shot because it was inspiring to see human hearts and hands help bring the little village of Driver back from the ruin of tornado damage.

Volunteers from the Southeastern Baptist Conservatives showed up in force with their yellow shirts and hats, armed with chain saws and food. Combined with residents  of Driver, they in one hard day’s work did what it would have taken weeks for the residents to do al one.

When the work was done, they all joined hands and gave thanks to God that it had been a good day together, in friendship and recovery. The human spirit prevailed.
