NORFOLK
An 80-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s who wandered away from her home this morning has been located.
Geneva Foster was last seen before 5 a.m. in her home in the 800 block of Walker Ave., said Chris Amos, a police spokesman.
About 7 a.m., police called the Norfolk Sheriff's Office to help with the search, according to Bonita Harris, spokeswoman for the sheriff. Three members of the department's Community Affairs staff who work with Project Lifesaver joined the search.
About 15 minutes later, Foster was found, Harris said.
