Get Real...

"This is too much info about deploying units. It is great to respect the military but with the kind of people that are trying to prevent service members from doing their job every day this article can be seen as informative to the cause. In the military we try not to give specifics about Unit Name, Size, especially Dates..."

This is NOT a security issue.

1. - This deployment has been heavily publicized, in ALL media, BY the Air Force.

2. - The Air Force is probably TRYING to get some worldwide press for the F-22. They WANT the world to see what it's capable of.

3. - Air Force fighters are a stand-off force. They don't put bases in 'hot zones'... they fly into them... from a distance. No one is in any danger, until they fly into it.

4. - These folks are NOT going anywhere near a combat zone.

If these were Army or Marine troops, going into 'the s**t', I'd agree with you... but this is the Air Force, on a "check out our new toys" tour, nothing more.

"GINGERBREAD"

To All The Military folks out there. This is too much info about deploying units. It is great to respect the military but with the kind of people that are trying to prevent service members from doing their job every day this article can be seen as informative to the cause. In the military we try not to give specifics about Unit Name, Size, especially Dates .. Thank you for your patriotism, however, I think some people might want this article removed.

Very respectfully,
Allie
