AG makes final radio rounds
Attorney General Bob McDonnell is making some of his final radio appearances this week.
McDonnell announced last week that he would resign as AG on Feb. 20 to focus on his gubernatorial campaign. He is the only Republican candidate for governor.
"It's now time for me to dedicate myself full-time to the mission and the effort ahead of me," McDonnell said Feb. 3, adding that it would be inappropriate to work as a part-time attorney general while campaigning.
His last Hampton Roads radio broadcast for “Live with the Attorney General” will air Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. on 790 AM, according to his public schedule.
