HAMPTON
A house fire that started in the kitchen Tuesday night has displaced two people.
According to Hampton Fire Marshal Anne-Marie Loughran, the fire started just before 9 p.m. in the 3000 block of W. Weaver Road. She said the fire started in the kitchen, probably when something was left cooking.
A man and a woman who lived in the house are being helped by the American Red Cross, Loughran said.
