Norfolk firefighters extinguish two-alarm Ocean View blaze

NORFOLK

Firefighters were called to a two-alarm house fire Thursday night in Ocean View.

According to a fire department spokesman the fire was called in at 7:05 p.m. in the 700 block of Ocean View Ave. Heavy smoke was showing and a second alarm was called when the fire got into the building's interior walls.

The fire was under control by 8:05 p.m. No one was injured, but an unknown number of people have been displaced.

The cause of the fire is not known.
