PORTSMOUTH

Police have charged a 10-year-old and a 14-year-old with grand larceny and commercial burglary after the youths were spotted pushing a stolen motorcycle down the street.

The 2008 KTM65SX motorcycle, valued at $4,000, was stolen Monday evening from KTM Motor Sports in the 2400 block of Airline Blvd., police said.

About 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, police saw two juveniles pushing the motorcycle in the 900 block of Florida Ave. The juveniles ran when they saw the officers, but were caught after a short chase, police said.

The boys, who are related, were released to their parents, but still face charges, police said. Their names were not released because they are juveniles.
