Vacant duplex catches fire in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH

Firefighters responded to a fire at an unoccupied duplex in the 300 block of Chautauqua Ave. on Thursday.

The fire broke out about 5:17 p.m. and firefighters had it under control by 6:06 p.m., according to a fire department spokesman. There were no injuries.

Cause of Fire

I would like to know what caused this fire. It is very suspicious. The property has not been vacant more than a week.
