Weather service warns of wind, fire danger

Posted to: News

The National Weather Service is warning of increased fire danger this week as winds kick up to between 20 and 40 mph.

Those winds, along with a drop in relative humidity, will lead to a state of enhanced fire danger Thursday, the weather service reported.

That may be affected by Wednesday's weather, which includes a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms at night. Conditions Thursday are forecast to be warm, with temperatures in the 70s, and windy.
