'Idol's' Braddy showed a lot of personality but not enough....
Well, even after another flawless performance, singing "Superstitious" by Stevie Wonder, Ricky Braddy's "American Idol" run is over. The North Carolina native was one of eight to sing in tonight's wild card performance, but wasn't chosen to advance into the Top 12.
Kara said, "he showed a lot of personality tonight, but not enough." Awwww.
On a happier note, one of my favorites from the auditions, Megan Corkrey, the girl with all the tats, made it through!
The judges also gave Tatiana another shot during the wild card round, but they did not send her to the Top 12. (Thank God!) I would've had to fast forward my DVR every time she opened her mouth.
The final three who completed the Top 12 are: Jasmine Murray, Megan Corkrey and Matt Giraud.
But wait, "Idol" added a spin this year. Crowd favorite Anoop Desai was dubbed lucky number 13! Instead of being sent home, Anoop was told that this season’s math was changing: He was now the last of Idol’s new Top 13. I can't figure out if he's lucky #13 or unlucky #13....
Tune in next week for more Idol chatter....
