Kaine to speak at N.C. Democratic dinner

Posted to: News North Carolina

RALEIGH, N.C.

Democratic National Committee chairman and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine will speak at the annual spring dinner for North Carolina Democrats.

Kaine will give the keynote address at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on May 2 at a Durham hotel. The state Democratic Party announced Kaine's visit Monday as dinner tickets went on sale.

Kaine served as national co-chairman of Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Like North Carolina, Virginia's electoral votes went to the Democratic presidential candidate for the first time in a generation.

Impeach Kaine

This governor has spent more time doing things that have NO BENEFIT to the citizens of Virginia. For the first time in my life I wrote a letter to a public figure, Gov. Kaine, only to never get a response--not even the courtesy of an answer from him or his "very busy" staff. Not only is it rude it shows how truly indifferent he and his staff is. I will ALWAYS regret voting for him. He is not the responsive Governor he claimed to be. Perhaps he should spend more time on issues relevant to Virginia and stop running around promoting his political carreer.
