Table: Stimulus money for military facilities in Hampton Roads

The Pentagon has unveiled plans to spend its share of the federal stimulus package, including more than $200 million for facilities in Hampton Roads. About $70 million will go for runway and apron repair and repaving projects at bases in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The largest chunk of that money, $43.6 million, was designated for use at Norfolk Naval Station; another $26.2 million will be used to rebuild a runway at Oceana Naval Air Station.

Waste of money at Oceana

Why bother, they don't use Oceana.

Its like throwing good money after bad. Our government is crazy.

If they fix the runway, will they use it?
