Bill Clinton to campaign in Norfolk for Terry McAuliffe

Former President Bill Clinton is coming to Norfolk in two weeks to campaign for Terry McAuliffe, his long-time friend and fundraiser who is running for governor. Norfolk Councilman W. Randy Wright, a McAuliffe supporter, said Clinton will be the guest speaker at a fundraiser at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel on May 14.

A rally will follow in the courtyard at Nauticus, Wright said.

Clinton campaigned for McAuliffe earlier this week in Richmond and Roanoke.

McAuliffe, head of the Democratic National Committee when Clinton was president, is facing state Sen. Creigh Deeds and former Del. Brian Moran in the June 9 Democratic primary.

Take the time to research him and where his money is coming from. Folks, there are qualified democrats right here in Virginia that have served the Commonwealth and are well qualified. Why do we have to bring in huge quantities of outside money and resources to try and ram someone down our throats that has never done a single thing for the Commonwealth.

Mr. Clinton, take Terry, the SEIU, Move On and Soros along with all the Hollywood money backing this guy and screw with another state. We dont need it here.

By the left wing machine of Soros, Clinton etc. We can only hope our citizens (exception being N.Va. lost cause) wont fall for the dog and pony show. Is our state up for sale?

WHY would Randy Wright support "McAuliffe"???

I have always supported Randy and I am TOTALLY surprised that he would support someone who is NOT even a Virginian and knows "nothing" about Hampton Roads?

Randy is a local boy and has always supported us.......

I am sooooooooooo SAD and disappointed!

...is the right word for McAuliffe. He isn't even from Virginia, doesn't know anything about any part of Virginia except the part that's right at DC and couldn't even get Hillary elected!!! He couldn't find Roanoke, or Newport News if you gave him a map and an hour to find them...

To McAuliffe. There's no reason to elect a carpetbagger when there are great home-grown candidates on the ballot. There's one in the Govna's mansion now....see where that got us?
