The Local Mix Tape
What’s up dudes,
So I saw one of the pilot on line bloggers talk about a mix tape and that you need to get it. I also think that you should a mix tape, but this one is straight local. So what I’m going to do is give you 15 songs from local artists that you should put on a mix tape. 15 different artists. 15 different styles of music. 15 songs that will get you into the local scene.
- Chasing Corona – Sand to Stone
- The Influence – Slippin’
- Jackmove – Hurricane Hunter
- Freedom Hawk – On The Other Side
- The Pawnshop Lifters – One False Move
- Rylo – Freakshow
- The Rats – Norfolk City Rockers
- Mike Federalli – Lace Up
- Dreadline – Wake the Dead
- The Villains – Bang Bang Boom
- Tango Storm – Blow Job
- Superock – Down That Road
- Walt Redmond Jr – Prayers
- Never So – Fever 101
- Heather Jeanette – Time To Kill
There are tons more that I would add, but I just wanted to give you a taste. This would make a hell of a mix tape.

Hey Alfredo, Your post got
Hey Alfredo,
Your post got linked out several times on Twitter today and I was disappointed that you didn't build out any links to the songs that you mentioned, so I went ahead and did it for you. We used the hashtag #HRVMixtape; you can see the feed here:
http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23HRVMixtape
I managed to find all but 2 of your pics, and others have added their suggestions so far. Submit a tweet song selection along with a link to a myspace, youtube or mp3 file with #HRVMixtape in it to have it added to the feed.
Great idea with the mixtape idea, and if everybody else adds their selections we will have a real good trend going here!
