McAuliffe up on TV, again

Terry McAuliffe today released an education-themed television commercial, the seventh his campaign has funded this year.

In the spot, McAuliffe pledges to fund early education programs, reduce classroom sizes and increase teacher pay. The ad wil air in the Norfolk, Richmond and Roanoke markets.

A former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, McAuliffe is one of three Democrats seeking the party nomination in the June 9 primary election.

Fellow candidates -- state Sen. Creigh Deeds, D-Bath, and former Alexandria Del. Brian Moran -- have made similar commitments about education spending on the campaign trail.
