N.C. family's extreme home makeover to air on TV tonight

Posted to: Entertainment North Carolina

The Jamesville, N.C., family that received a new home from ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” will have their episode featured on TV tonight.

In March, the Coopers – Jeff, 44, his wife, Clara, 40, and their children, Windy, 16, and Aaron, 13 - were sent to Washington, D.C., for the week while Ty Pennington and his crew tore down their old house and replace it with a new one.

Cooper, a decorated Army medic who served in Operation Desert Storm, has multiple sclerosis and uses a wheelchair. Local builders and architects designed the new home to be more accessible for him.

The show is scheduled to air tonight at 8 on ABC.
