Boys soccer

#2 Cox 4, Bayside 0

Chris Albiston, Eric Bird and Will Martin had a goal apiece in the first half for the Falcons, who clinched their second straight Beach District regular-season title.

Neil Harrison and Ryan Oakes each had two assists for the Falcons, who claimed their 12th title overall.

Devin Pierce scored his third goal with a minute left in the second overtime; it was his 13th of the season.

Stefano Churchill had two goals and two assists.

Eastern District semifinal

Lake Taylor 2, Churchland 1, OT

G—LT, Bravo-Morales, Thompson; C, Jones.

Patrick Thompson scored the winner in overtime to put the Titans in the Eastern Region tournament for the first time.

Girls soccer

Churchland 3, Granby 2

The Truckers secured a spot in the Eastern District tournament final with Tabatha Leon’s goal a little more than two minutes into overtime.

Churchland had led 2-1, but Isabella Charest forced extra time by scoring with less than a minute remaining in regulation.

Kayla White scored on a corner kick to secure the win for the Dolphins over the Eagles.

Becky Gold made six saves for the Dolphins and Candice Shields scored two goals.

Gabby Carragino tallied four goals for the Chiefs.
