Carter Tata scored two goals, boosting her season total to 12, and the top-seeded Bulldogs (13-1) ran their winning streak to 13 in a Tidewater Conference quarterfinal Tuesday afternoon.
Sophomore goalkeeper Krissy Gorsline made one save in recording her second consecutive shutout and seventh overall. Midfielder Holley Beasley added a goal to highlight her solid overall performance. Tata shares the team lead in goals with Brittany Morris.
Norfolk Academy hosts No. 5 seed Walsingham, a 1-0 quarterfinal victor over Cape Henry, in a semifinal at 4:30 p.m. today.
