PLAYER OF THE YEAR | Chris Taylor
No one would be surprised if Cox’s Chris Taylor was preparing for a college wrestling career. You have a point!!
Sounds like your son should had the numbers to have been selected for the All-Tidewater team. There's always someone who gets left off these type teams who deserves to be on. There's always someone who's on second team who probably could have been on first team and vice versa. Josh and James Taylor probably feel they should have been first team and maybe they should have. I don't know how these guys come to these decisions but no matter what they do somebody will be left off who deserves to be on. Similiar to the March Madness Selections in basketball, always some deserving team who doesn't get in.
All Tidewater Baseball
I am curious how the all tidewater team is selected. My son (Mike Johnson) played at ASCS and had a great year. He Led the team and probably area with 13 HR's, 1.08 slugging, 37 RBI's. He had a 482 BA, over 500 on base percentage. Something sounds a little off here. As far as I can tell, no one had numbers like this.
