ALLENTOWN, Pa.

Norfolk right-hander Chris Tillman retired the first 17 batters he faced and had a no-hitter through 6 1/3 innings before Lehigh Valley broke through with six runs in the seventh inning Sunday to beat the Tides 6-1 at Coca-Cola Park.

Andy Tracy doubled with one out and one on in the seventh to break up Tillman's no-hitter. Terry Tiffee's single scored Mike Cervenak to tie the game at 1-1. The IronPigs took a 3-1 lead two batters later on an RBI force- out and a throwing error by Norfolk second baseman Justin Turner.

After Kam Mickolio replaced Tillman, Lehigh Valley padded its lead with a two-run double and a bases-loaded walk.

The Tides led 1-0 on Michael Aubrey's RBI single in the first inning.

Tillman (5-5) took the loss, allowing five runs on three hits in 6 2/3 innings. He struck out five and walked three. The teams meet again at 7:05 tonight.
