Oceana will hold aircraft drill today in Va. Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH

Oceana Naval Air Station will hold an aircraft mishap drill today outside the jet base's main gate, near the Navy Exchange.

The drill will mimic a response of emergency services personnel and vehicles to a fire.

There likely will be smoke visible in the area and from Oceana Boulevard.

This is regularly scheduled training for Oceana's emergency responders.
