Soldiers return to Fort Story from Iraq

The 1st Platoon of the 241st Seaport Operations Company returned home to Fort Story Monday, the Army announced.

Crew size: About 50 soldiers

Leader: Lt. Scott Koritz

Location of deployment: Iraq

Deployed: March 2008

Returned: June 8, 2009

Highlights: The Army unit, based at Fort Story in Virginia Beach, provided container yard support and security in Iraq.
