Take the 2010 Lexus RX 350 for a spin

Posted to: Spotlight Drive

The redesigned RX 350 is not dramatically different in looks from the previous year's model but wears crisp lines that add tension and strength to its demeanor.

With a larger chrome grille, the RX has more presence and blends in nicely with its sportier siblings.

The front bucket seats are comfortable, and rear-seat accommodations are roomy for two, acceptable for three. The seat seemed a little low, but that's typical for this class.

The car's splendid sense of isolation has always been a strength of the brand. The cargo hold is generous.

Overall, the RX 350 provides everyday luxury and is a sensible choice in a luxury crossover SUV.
