CORRECTION

Troutman Sanders has not laid off partners from its offices in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, only associates and other staff. An item in a story in Sunday's Business section about the firm Williams Mullen ("At 100, law firm still hungry for growth") was incorrect.

CLARIFICATION

A story on Thursday's Hampton Roads front ("Animals will receive vaccinations on arrival") reported that, prior to this week, a veterinarian vaccinated animals at the Suffolk animal shelter on a weekly basis. However, not every new animal was vaccinated within its first week there. All were vaccinated before being adopted, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.
