WATER TRANSPORTATION
The Elizabeth River Ferry runs between Norfolk and Portsmouth. Base price is $1.50 one way. Visit www.gohrt.com or call (757) 222-6100 for more information.
The Downtown Water Taxi will be running between the Norfolk and Portsmouth waterfronts during the event. It will have fixed pickup points near Nauticus on the Norfolk side and Tidewater Yacht on the Portsmouth side and will service boats at anchorage at Hospital Point. Fares are $5 adults, $3 children. RULES TO NOTE
No animals, except service animals and those used in law enforcement, are permitted in the park unless otherwise posted.
No glass containers or alcoholic beverages may be carried into the park.
No skates, skateboards or bicycles.
BOATER INFORMATION
VHF Marine Band Radio Channel 72 offers marine updates. The captain of the port can be contacted at (757) 484-8192.
Harborfest safety patrol boats will monitor and assist boating activity throughout the weekend, and monitor Channel 72.
Docking along the downtown Norfolk Waterfront is prohibited unless authorized. Unauthorized boats will be towed at owner's expense.
