Local Scene - Funksion opens for 2 Skinnie J's in August, Nightmare of You tour at The Boot tonight

-Funksion, a alternative rock band based in Virginia Beach,  will open for 2 Skinnie J's on Aug. 28 at The NorVa, according to Funksion's MySpace updates.

-See indie rockers Nightmare of You, Plushgun and Aushua tonight, July 28, at The Boot. Three Last.fm user have confirmed their interest in going. What about you?  Nightmare of You, a far as I can tell from the band's Website, kicked off a headlining tour this summer.  The band also has a new album called "Infomaniac" due out Aug. 4.  Check out this video of the band from Blip.TV:
