Pet adoption drive in Virginia Beach today

VIRGINIA BEACH

The Friends of Virginia Beach Animal Control will hold a pet adoption event 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. today at the Virginia Beach Animal Control Center, 2665 Leroy Ave.

Pets will be available to adopt and free refreshments will be provided. There will be a Patriotic Pet contest, for the pet judged to have the most appropriate attire for the July 4th holiday, and a dog kissing booth.
