PORTSMOUTH
Beginning Friday, passengers boarding The Loop shuttle in downtown Portsmouth can receive free tokens for discounts at participating Olde Towne restaurants, museums and gift shops.
The discount is part of a promotion of new routes that extend into neighborhoods that weren’t previously served by the shuttle. The tokens, about the size of a half dollar, will be available on board the two circulating shuttles. The promotion, called “Love Life in the Loop,” will continue through the end of the month, according to a news release from Hampton Roads Transit.
Loop routes include stops on High, Crawford and Water streets downtown. In mid-June, Loop service was extended to the Food Lion on London Boulevard and into the Park View and Westbury neighborhoods.
The Loop shuttle also will be free Saturday as a July Fourth promotional kickoff.

Make downtown a safer place and I will walk to Food Lion ! There is no point riding a bus if you are too scared to get off.
300B
I rode the 300B (South Loop) on the 3:50 PM departure from County & Court and was the only passenger for the whole trip
I feel that the 300A/300B needs to do a better timed connection at County & Court where all other buses (except the #41 Cradock, which needs its schedule fixed badly) line up on the hour and 1/2 past
