Waterside Drive, other Norfolk streets closing for Harborfest

NORFOLK

Portions of Waterside Drive will close beginning Thursday through Sunday for Harborfest.

Waterside Drive between Main Street and Martin’s Lane will close for the entire four days. Beginning Friday, the closure will extend to St. Paul’s Boulevard for the next three days.

The southbound curb lane on Boush Street between City Hall Avenue and Main Street will also close Thursday.

Starting Friday, the following will close:

Commercial Place northbound between Waterside Drive and Main Street;

Martin’s Lane southbound between Waterside Drive and Main Street;

Boush Street southbound between City Hall Avenue and Main Street.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

So to summarize... Waterside Dr, Martins Lane, Boush St, The James River Bridge, The Chesapeake Bay bridge Tunnel and Westbound Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel are all in the headlines right now for closures during the Holiday weekend.
