Jackpot for tonight's Mega Millions drawing grows to $333 million

Posted to: News Virginia

After tonight, someone could be $333 million richer.

After no one matched the winning numbers in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing, the jackpot increased from $252 million, according to the Virginia Lottery Web site. This afternoon, the Virginia Lottery Web site was reporting that the jackpot had increased to $333 million.

Lottery officials said earlier this week that they expect to sell about 4.7 million tickets in Virginia for tonight’s drawing, or about 9,500 tickets a minute.

The drawing will be held at 11 p.m.

The Mega Millions game also is played in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas and Washington.

I also hope you dont win!

I hope we don't win.

My wife is making me buy a ticket, but I hope we do not win. I enjoy my family and friends just the way we are and I have seen too many stories on "The Lottery Changed My Life" where this kind of sudden wealth destroys relationships quickly.

Maybe

Never bought one of these- maybe I will and WIN! WOO WOO!
