Legendary rockers KISS will swing by the Hampton Coliseum Oct. 16 during the band's "KISS Alive 35" North America tour, according to a press release from the Hampton Coliseum.
KISS is celebrating 35 years of rocking out with this tour, and they plan to indulge fans with their greatest hits, such as "Rock and Roll All Nite" and "Detroit Rock City," and selections from the band's newest album "Sonic Boom." "Sonic Boom," the band's first album of new material in 11 years, will go on sale Oct. 6. It will be sold as a part of a three-disc set sold exclusively through Wal-Mart.
KISS is well known for grand stage sets and pyro effects, and the tradition carries on with this tour.
Tickets for the Hampton Coliseum show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations, via

10,000 shows - That's a long tour
As old as they are let's assume they will do 4 shows a week. If they stay on the road 40 weeks per year, it will take them 63 years to complete this tour. Rock On!
Thanks!
You are correct. KISS won't stop at 10,000 cities. Even if they performed a show a night, it would take more than 25 years to finish the tour. Everyone knows that isn't going to happen. Therefore, we removed that typo from the story.
However, the press release from the Hampton Coliseum reports that "more than 10,000 individual cities across Canada and the U.S. mounted their own unique campaigns to bring KISS to their towns."
