A youth pastor at a church in Seaford has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor, authorities said.
Jack Ryan Duffer, 40, also was charged Thursday with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to a news release from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office. Duffer lives in the 1300 block of Seaford Road.
The charges are in connection with an incident that happened between July 24 and Aug. 8, the release says. The incident involved consensual sex with a girl in York County.
Duffer was listed as the youth pastor on the Web site of Seaford Baptist Church in the 1300 block of Seaford Road.
