YORKTOWN

Residents of Queen’s Lake have reported finding “KKK” spray-painted on property in their neighborhood, authorities said.

Investigators with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office don’t believe anyone specific was targeted, a news release says.

The graffiti was found on a realty sign in the 200 block of W. Queen’s Drive, on the clubhouse sign and on a Virginia Department of Transportation sign, the release says.

The graffiti also included curvy lines and was all in orange paint, the release says. It was believed to have been sprayed on the signs last week.

The Sheriff’s Office was asking anyone with information to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (562-5887).
