What About Southside Virginia

The 2008-2009 State Champions in the Single A division was the Franklin Broncos and it looks like they are off to another great season. They are currently 4-0. In the last five years they have won 2 State Championships and it looks as if they are posed to take it all the way!

To the sports writer of the Virginian Pilot as well as recruiters, take a closer look at the football progams on the Southside of Virginia.. These young athletes deserve a chance to get into great college programs just as much as the atheltes on the peninsula who seems to dominate the airways and print.
