A 52-year-old man who died in a motorcycle crash on South Quay Road was identified today as Austin Lee Sallinger.
About 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Sallinger was traveling west on the road near the Blackwater Bridge when he lost control and crashed, police said. Excessive speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
Sallinger died at the scene.
