Police have identified the victim of Saturday morning’s shooting as Israel Rivera.
Rivera, who was in his 20s, was the victim of an apparent robbery before he was shot to death about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 7800 block of Lisa Drive , said Karen Parker-Chesson, Norfolk police spokeswoman.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Rivera dead and a second man shot in the hand, Parker-Chesson said. The injured man refused medical treatment.
No suspect information was available.
