Teresa Lamarche, above, community outreach director for the Virginia Beach SPCA, carries 5-week-old boxers to the car Monday. The two dogs and 20 others were seized from a puppy mill in Wilson County, N.C. The dogs will be in quarantine until evaluations for medical and behavioral issues are completed and will be available for adoption once released by North Carolina authorities.
Below, also residing at the SPCA - three 8-week-old Maltese-mix puppies and a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix and 5-week-old male boxer.

its a shame
Yes, I heard about puppy mills when I went on the internet to look for my puppies. It is such a terrible thing to happen to any animal. Can't wait till God puts an end to all this pain and suffering to helpless animals.
Don't buy puppies from pet stores
When you look at that cute puppy in the store, think of all those other cute faces stuck in tiny cages their entire lives, no human contact, no medical treatment, no freedom, churning out puppies cause all they are is breeding stock and a way to make money. Do an internet search for puppy mills to see how absolutely horrible their conditions are. Don't buy puppies from pet stores!!!!
poor babies
Just remember, everyone who buys puppies from pet stores is contributing to this. If you know the truth and you still do it, you are a hateful, sick person.
THAT'S RIGHT!!!
Don't buy dogs from pet stores - give your money to your local SPCA...and pray that Robin Starr didn't keep it in the back seat of her car!
