‘Miracle Man’ thanks first responders who saved his life after a heart attack

Tears flowed and tissues were passed around as David Preuss thanked the men and women who saved his life after he suffered a heart attack at his Virginia Beach home in 2023.

Norfolk School Board Chair Sarah DiCalogero said the body plans to start the school closure process in the 2026-27 school year after a surprise City Council ultimatum issued this week.
