Kyle Jacobs spurred Western Branch to a double victory over Oscar Smith and Indian River with a 17:01 finish at Bells Mill.

Kyle Corwin ran a 17:11 on the same course, keying Hickory’s sweep of Great Bridge and Deep Creek.

In girls action, Western Branch’s Natalie Wynn was the top finisher in 20:13.
