A pedestrian struck by a car last week on Shore Drive has died.
Arnold Lee Jones, 21, of the 3700 block of Dupont Circle, Virginia Beach, died Friday from severe head injuries, police said in a release today.
The driver of a 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder hit Jones on Oct. 21 at 1:53 a.m. after he left a bar and attempted to cross Shore Drive, the release said.
Alcohol use by Jones was a factor, the release said. No charges are pending against the driver.
