Like Facebook, specifically for Lee Ann Womack fans

Lee Ann Womack has been busy: she's been in Chicago for a spell; there, she participated in the Country Music Association’s Songwriter Series Friday night at Joe’s Bar and Saturday afternoon in Grant Park as part of the Chicago Country Music Festival. Then she hit up the Cubs' Wrigley Field (bless her heart; they need all the help they can get, don't they?) and sang the National Anthem for the Saturday game vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks.

She's also upped her online presence: Womack fans can visit www.leeannwomack.com to sign up for the newly-created and free-of-charge Country Music Appreciation Society & Social Club. What we love most about this site is the rules, which include:

1.   As a social club member, you should refrain from using phrases such as “country rocks!” as this makes Lee Ann nauseous (and sometimes rabidly angry)…

2.   Remember: although all social club members are created equal, we reserve the right to like the ones who contact us the most, better.

Fun.
