Know the facts

One thing that is a fact is: Sheriff Watson is a great man!!!! You can support Cherry and as me you can have an opinion because it is your constitutional right. Just humors me how the NAACP stated that there were no investigations pending because the disgruntle employee who was fired :a black man ) was found by the NAACP to be a liar....uncredible!!! Thats a fact!!!!So go ahead with the mud slinging because Watson ran a clean and honorable campaign. Integrity : well the carpet business may not have that but the Sheriff's Office does!!! Congratulations to Sheriff Watson who hands down will be the Sheriff once again!!! And Cherry, no disrespect but making promises to do things with what money???? Your not going to get it from the city so do you plan on using personal funds??? Hey its ok cause we all have dreams....like not having to work two jobs to feed the family but if you want, donate some of that money that your going to make appear to the Deputies!!!!!

Did you see bill Watson's

Did you see bill Watson's booking picture in last Sunday's Currents. What a guy. I also can not vote for a man with that sort of character, or one that has 4 N.A.A.C.P law suits pending against him. Therefore I am Voting for David Cherry for Sheriff. Its time for change in Portsmouth!

Amazing

You call yourself "tired of the BS" yet you are shoveling it fast and furiously. Bill has done precisely what he promised to do and isn't that what people want in an elected official? Call yourself by your true name"Good ol boy slinging BS"---you're obvious.

I

read them both very carefully. I see Mr. Cherry as an extension of the new PD resolves. They are working for the "good ol' boy" network and, quite frankly, I'd hate to see the SD degrade to PD standards.
