Celeb Sightings

My digital camera is broken, so I'm unable to document any of the cool stuff or people I've been seeing lately.

The other day I was down in the village, around NYU, we perform nearby, and I walked right by the actor Willem Defoe. Just walking... nobody around him or noticing.  Then not even 5 minutes later I was coming around the corner on 3rd Ave. more in the East Village, and I saw John Legend sitting with a female friend, eating outside at this little restaraunt. My girlfriend loves him so I was anxious to confront this brother face to face. Yea he's got a million dollars, and nice clean clothes, and travels back and forth around the globe...and can sing and all. Plenty of reasons for girls to gush over him, but I was going to let him know that my girlfriend is not available! And if he thinks he's gonna step to her, I'm gonna show him the GREEN LIGHT. I walked up to his table and said, "excuse me.  He didn't look up, I said "excuse me", louder this time, then I knocked his plate of food over,

I'm kidding.  I didn't bother the brother.  But he was there sitting outside with his friend. They were the only two sitting outside, but again people were barely noticing.  Noone was stopped or going up to him or taking pictures or anything.  Well there I was cheese grinning as I walked by fumbling to find a camera thats broken anyway.  I wasen't going to ask the brother for his autograph while he was in the middle of eating, but I would have snapped a quick shot with my digital.

I came back to the theatre.

Saturday after one of our preview performances, which are going great, I was walking to the subway on B'way and 8th St. and saw Kiefer Sutherland standing outside smoking a cigarette.  He was right in front of an NYU building. Again people just walking by, nobody noticing...

all over New York.
