Posted to: Military News

A suspect in the bombing of the destroyer Cole, in which 17 Norfolk-based sailors were killed, has been added to the U.S. government's list of Most Wanted Terrorists, the FBI said Tuesday.

Fahd Mohammed Ahmed al-Quso is believed to be 35 years old and may be living in Yemen, the FBI said.

The Norfolk-based destroyer was attacked in the Yemeni port of Aden in October 2000.

The FBI is offering a reward of as much as $5 million for information leading to the apprehension or conviction of al-Quso in any country.

Another man, Abdullah al-Rimi, also wanted for questioning in the Cole attack, was added to a separate list of people federal authorities want to question in connection with attacks or threats.
