Company moves Dodge franchise to new Beach site

Posted to: Business

Hall Automotive has moved its Dodge franchise to its Chrysler-Jeep dealership at 3152 Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach.

The move is part of Chrysler Group LLC's plan to combine different product lines under one roof and eliminate standalone franchises.

Hall also has submitted an application to move its Acura franchise from 3496 Holland Road in Virginia Beach to its former Pontiac-Buick-GMC location, which closed in late September as part of General Motors' downsizing of dealerships nationwide.

That showroom sits next to Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge. If approved, the move should be completed by March 2010. Hall's Mitsubushi store will remain in its current location on Holland Road.
