FedEx, minus the Kinko's.

Posted to: Business

Consumers who still think of FedEx Kinko's as the new name of Kinko's Copies now have to give up the old name for good.

The chain that offers copying services and office supplies has changed its name to FedEx Office. The brand is being rolled out to stores now, including the four locations in Hampton Roads.

Kinko's, the company's news release explained, was synonymous with copies.

"The new FedEx Office brand better describes the wide range of services available at the company's locations - everything from nationally networked online printing capabilities to marketing and direct mail services," the release reads.

The local FedEx Office stores are in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News and Williamsburg.
