Two men wearing masks robbed the BayPort Credit Union at 80th Street and Marshall Avenue on Friday morning, police said. Police later arrested one suspect.
One man had a gun. They approached a teller and demanded money, then ran east on 81st Street.
Police on Friday evening arrested David J. Whitaker, 19, of Richmond on two counts of robbery, 10 counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, nine counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, seven counts of abduction and one count of wearing a mask in public.
