Two charged in killing on Grimes Road in Hampton

Two men being sought on warrants charging them in connection with an Oct. 26 killing on Grimes Road.

Micah Emmanuel Boyd, 26, of Lake Erie Court, was arrested on Halloween and charged with murder, using a gun during a felony and possession of a gun by a convicted felon, police wrote in a news release.

Antwan Jermaine Hoskins, 21, of the 300 block of Mary St., turned himself in at Police Headquarters last night, the release says. Hoskins was charged with murder, using a gun during a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Both men are being held in the city jail, the release says.

Shortly before 8 p.m. on Oct. 26, police were called to the 600 block of Grimes Road on reports of shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found Jason Michael Burch, 20, inside a vehicle and suffering a gunshot wound.

Burch, of the 700 block of Burgess Ave., was pronounced dead at the scene.
