NORFOLK

A 22-year-old city man who crashed his all-terrain vehicle into a wall has died, police reported Friday.

Brandon Angelo Via was riding in the 300 block of Naval Base Road early Wednesday afternoon when he ran into a wall at Uncle Bob’s Self-Storage, police said. He died late Thursday afternoon, police said.

A preliminary investigation showed that the ATV was being operated at high speed, Master Police Officer Chris Amos, a department spokesman, said earlier this week.

Police are still investigating the crash, said Karen Parker-Chesson, a spokeswoman.
