Photo shows JFK and nude ladies; 'Tyra Show' to end

-- JFK photo scandal: TMZ.com has obtained a never-before published photo of what appears to be John F. Kennedy on a boat filled with naked women. They call it the  "the photo that could have changed history." TMZ had several experts examine the photo, and they say it wasn't manipulated in any way. The photo is creased but really does feature a nude woman jumping from a boat, another one climbing aboard, and yet two more lounging in the sun just above what looks like JFK. Since there are a lot of breasts, I don't think I'll publish the photo here. However, Cube does wonder could the photo really have torpedoed his presidential run in 1960... [TMZ]

-- Tyra wraps up 5th season: Tyra Banks told People Magazine that this will be the last season of her talk show, "The Tyra Show." That means, the show will wrap up it's fifth season this spring. After that, she will focus on the launch of a NY-based film production company called Bankable Studios. She hopes to continue bringing "positive images of women to the big screen." Because she's done so well with providing positive images of women for the little screen. Thanks "America's Next Top Model"! [People]

Now what scandals broke out while I was enjoying my Christmas weekend:

-- Balloon Boys parents jailed: Not only will the Heenes spend some time in jail. It will be four-years before they will be able earn any dough from the publicity stunt that riveted the nation. Richard Heene will spend 90 days in jail, Mayumi Heene will spend 20 days in jail. Both will serve a four-year probation during which neither can earn any money related to their hoax.  [AP]

-- Sheen not so glossy: Turns out, Charlie Sheen spent the better part of Christmas Day in an Aspen, Colo., jail. He was accused of using a weapon in an alleged case of domestic violence. No wonder it's "Two and a Half Men." Women are better off without Sheen's company. [AP]

-- Gosselins won't go away: Jon Gosselin's apartment was ransacked by someone who slashed furniture, stole his TV and left a note pinned to his dresser with a butcher knife while he visited his children for Christmas. What you want to bet there's more to this story? [AP]

-- KISS bassist sued: A couple who said they were assaulted by Gene Simmons sued the KISS bassist for unspecified damages on Christmas Eve. Simmons has not been arrested and no charges have been filed. Rock n' roll trouble never ceases. [AP]

-- Ivana off the plane: Police say Ivana Trump was escorted off a plane in Florida Saturday after she became belligerent when children were running and screaming in the aisles. I don't know... who can blame her? Kids on planes can be rather annoying. [AP]

Kennedy Story: TMZ suckered

The "photo" of Kennedy in a yacht full of nude women is a fraud.
From "The Smoking Gun": the image actually appeared as part of a November 1967 Playboy photo spread. Kennedy was photo-shopped in.

Great experts TMZ hires.

You're right... TMZ admitted it was duped

From the NYT:

Hours after the popular celebrity news Web site published a photo that it said “appears to show John F. Kennedy on a boat filled with naked women,” one of its corporate siblings, The Smoking Gun, revealed that TMZ had been duped.

I still don't think - if it could have been real - it would have killed JFK's presidential bid.
